Urban Light
Adventures Aug 23, 2013
I know NY is the city that never sleeps and clearly LA is her tan, edited, and slightly sleepier cousin, but I am never at a loss for things to do in Los Angeles. Rain or shine, “winter” (and i use that term lightly) or summer, there is always something to do or somewhere to go in the City of Angels.
Take a random tuesday night after a long day of adventuring but with no desire for sleep. It’s 1:14am, you’re not hungry, you’re not in the mood to work out, you simply want somewhere to GO. Hello, LACMA.
The Urban Light exhibit is one of my favorite places in LA and no, it’s not simply because Ashton Kutcher once walked handsomely through the exhibit while courting Natalie Portman- who am i kidding? I love Natalie more than Ashton, I don’t even remember the lights. ANYWAY, like i said, the Urban Light exhibit is one of my favorite places in LA and was the perfect place to adventure to on a random week night. The lights stay on all night and although they are guarded by a man who’s favorite phrase seems to be “NO CLIMBING THE POLES!” it’s an otherwise very serene place in the heart of LA.
