Beyond Destinations, Chiang Mai part II

In our fourth episode of Beyond Destinations we continue our adventure in Chiang Mai by exploring more local wildlife- ELEPHANTS!
Elephants are one of my absolute favorite animals and nothing beats hanging out with the big gentle beasts in real life! At this elephant camp and sanctuary the elephants are taught various skills, but not used for labor. They are also “retired” out to pasture when they become old.
Don’t mind my outfit here- i’m just wearing the traditional outfit of mahouts, aka elephant trainers.
