Here we are again at the end of a busy but beautiful week & here’s a quick round up of things in my Universe this BEST WEEK EVER
- I just finished reading ESSENTIALISM by Greg McKeown & i promise you, no matter where you are in life or what you do, you need to read it too. Check it out. Also, here’s an interview Greg McKeown did with NPR, in case you still need some convincing.
- I’m obsessed with pour-over coffee and POPPY is about to show you why you should be too. LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL MACHINE.
- Daniel Kish has been blind since he was 13 months old, but he sees more that you do. Watch his TED talk to learn how to navigate through your dark unknown: [ted id=2224]
- Johanna Basford is making coloring books for adults. And the bonus you didn’t even need to know? THEY’RE SELLING OUT. Don’t give up on your dreams kids.
- April is Autism Awareness Month & one mom shares her journey, her gratitude, & a list of how we can all help bring awareness to what is needed to help family with the challenges of autism.
- Just when you thought religions couldn’t get even more bizarre…. HBO released the documentary “Going Clear” revealing details about the Church of Scientology…. with more than shocking insights. Check out the documentary when you get the chance, but for a quick preview here’s a look thanks to Huffington Post.
- Fellow Wanderlusters rejoice! The possibility of free international roaming is near! Seriously though, get to it google.
- Easter is forever a reason to eat (even more) deviled eggs, get crafty with egg shells, eat (even more) ham & Southern food, and bake up something delicious and pretty and pastel. Here’s what I whipped together before flying out to Nashville for Easter Weekend.
- I hope you all caught the BloodMoon Lunar eclipse this past friday/saturday! It was the shortest lunar eclipse of the century- also there are 32 eclipses this century which is extremely high and therefore rare. So all in all, this is a great time to be alive fellow LunarLovers. If you somehow missed it here are some pictures of the beautiful glowing eclipse from around the world
- Seeing as I spent my Easter Weekend in Nashville eating obscene amounts of Southern food, drinking inhumanly amounts of whiskey, & listening to every country song known to man- here’s a little video of one of my favorite country songs from the show Nashville, performed live at the Grand Ole Opry by Sam Palladio & Clare Bowen (who is totally Australian by the way! WHAT THE HECK.)
